One day short of the six month anniversary of being laid off - I was offered a great new job. So, after half a year of unemployment, I will be joining CASA Designs in Huntsville, Alabama.
CASA Designs primarily works with the Corps of Engineers and the Department of Defense. In a sense I will be following in my son's boots - he has been serving in the US Army for several years and is now deployed in Iraq. For now I will be the only Registered Architect on board at CASA; I look forward to joining the veteran-owned and staffed firm!
This happy post may mark the end of this blog. I trust it has served some purpose. It has help me, being able to write about my search for work in my field.
