Having hit the ground running right after the lay-off, today is the first day I didn’t hover over the laptop waiting for an interview-related e-mail. I essentially took a day off from my search to focus on my flooring project.
Let me back up. Our son is returning home in a few days from a having served a year with the Army in Korea and my in-laws are coming to town to visit and to meet our daughter’s fiancé. So - the long-term, start and stop, wood flooring installation project now has a deadline!
Finding the next job is important, but these family times are still the priority.
And the hardwood floors won’t lay themselves.
